 Tyvek stencils are another way to go....I made the large leaf from JudiKins Poly Paper (tyvek)....... the flower stencil in the back is from Gourmet Rubber stamps Gourmet Rubber Stamps

I have been using loads of stencils lately this is one from crafters workshop called wonky circles TCW220.....We also got new stencils from Gourmet Rubber stamps and KITE stencils (Judikins)

Here is one that is a bit better,gold paint underneath. It is so hard to photograph the sheen of the metallic paint. I will keep trying.

For the Studio Play Crew last night,

so the black board from last night did not like the water. I got the first layer of paper off when the black paper started peeling. I am going to try to get one more layer off then apply a thin clear polymer to clear the rest. I will do another one today for a better picture of the gold.

WED we have Studio Play ...the subject this week is about Micaceous Iron Oxide an  all the wonderful things it can do! Be there at 5:20 pm do not bring a thing. We will try one wet and dry.

ON THURSDAY our new night for visual journaling (4:40 pm) at Creative Element in CDA join us for tissue paper fun and other fun stuff with new stencils.

At Visual Journaling we will be working on some layered tissue texture backgrounds so if you have tissue bring it and paint brushes. I will bring the paint and mediums and some tissue 5:30pm

Lots happening this first week of April

First off this week on Wed April 3rd Visual Journaling meets at SAS 5:30pm we will be trying this type of collage over something you have already done and disliked! Bring your Journal. and plain old tissue if you have it. oh and paint brushes. This would also be a good time for multiple journals and for working on a cover as well.
