I spray painted these pages with stencils and then used some thinned down acrylic to alter the color.

They don't always work but some sections look ok  

 I am constantly  dealing with camera issue but this has me stumped.....I have been using this IPhone for more than a year and all of a sudden I cannot get a decent picture. I have checked the settings .....any suggestions out there?

To do some updated pages in one of my landscape journals....the last few weeks have been tough....my Dad passed, two friends passed as well and I changed jobs. It has been hard to want to do any art work at all but you have to get back on the horse sometime so today I got out the Montana spray paint and started spraying. I picked three colors black orange and pale yellow....one mask I made and went through this journal.  If you are up to it this Sunday at noon Our Visual Journal group will be meeting for the first time (on a Sunday) all over again.    Let me know IF you are coming PLEASE!!!!!!! Big Changes for me! I have a new job and next week I will be leaving the Spokane Art Supply family for a new career as a residential care giver locally in Idaho. I will still teach occasionally..... my journaling & mixed media classes locally and nationally....... if fact check out.... paper parachute  I will be teaching there in July! This is a big shift in my life especially for my art. Over the last 30 years I have always had some type of ART job, either selling my own art or selling products to make art. I am hoping that this job will give me time to create more of my own art! I will still be doing the first 2 Secret Blogs until June and updating them forever!  I will decide then if I will be continuing with online classes and such.  Stay tuned......

In general. I use white pens every day.  in my journals and in artwork......The Sharpie waterbased marker is great to fill in areas that you have overworked or to add texture and it can be colored over with most pens once it is dry.

Studio play we will be testing out light molding paste wet and dry. Join in the fun at 5:30pm for only $10. Its a great deal for mixed media people who want to    Try before they buy!
